Engineered for Superior Performance

From the outset, neutrality and tonal balance were fundamental goals that we set out to achieve, at any cost and without compromise. We did not want a cable that created and imposed its own tonality and sonic characteristics onto the original music. After much experimentation and testing, we found that using just pure copper or pure silver (even with a small percentage of gold), were not ideal for what we wanted, as they would accentuate either the low or high frequencies and were lacking in other areas. This was ultimately the biggest challenge that eventuated in a complex proprietary blend of various metals and nanostructures.

All cables inherently act as a filter and antenna, and these well-established scientific phenomena unfortunately also corrupt and contaminate the small electrical signals in audio cables, so another objective was to maximally constrain all interferences in order to maximally limit modifications to the original signal.

  • The signal path conductors (wire) consist of a proprietary and optimised blend of OCC 6N Copper (99.9999%), pure Silver, Gold, Nanostructures and other Precious Metals for optimal electron flow (oscillation) throughout the frequency range, preserving the small electrical signal and its original sonic characteristics. Some of these metals and alloys also undergo specific thermal and cryogenic treatments, in order to further enhance their transmission performance.

  • Manufacture ‘work direction’ of the wire conductors maintained for preferred electron direction flow (oscillation).

  • No internal filter networks (capacitors, resistors or coils/inductors) built into the connectors or cable, that would modify (filter/EQ) and corrupt the original signal.

  • Dual-layer cable shielding using MIL-SPEC copper braid (99% optical coverage) with a proprietary plating and aerospace copper foil (100% physical coverage) prevents virtually all EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and RFI (Radio Frequency Interference).

  • Solid brass outer connector shells provide additional noise rejection for crystal-clear audio.

  • The design and workings of the shield systems do not introduce ground loops - AES48 compliant.

  • XLR - unique and complex signal wire architecture to further reduce EMI and RFI (an inherent functionality and advantage that XLR Balanced cables have over RCA Unbalanced cables).

  • Only premium (and customised XLR) connectors are used, unlike many of our competitors, who use very cheap and inferior quality connectors.

  • Outer cable sheath is highly UV resistant, while the connectors’ outer shells are made of machined brass metal - no plastic which can easily deteriorate from indirect UV exposure and suffer stripped threads or cracks.

  • All terminations (wire to connector) are done under high magnification to ensure maximum accuracy and precision.

  • Multi-stranded wire cores provide superior flexibility, allowing repeated movement without risk of damage to the signal wires (especially at connection points) - unlike with most of the competitors’ solid-core cables.

  • Individual cable design allows for easier installation and routing of single cables, without having the pair joined in the middle (like a figure 8 configuration) and creating uneven cable runs/tensions. This is also important when choosing cables for left & right mono block amps, where each amp only requires one cable.

XLR Connectors

  • Extreme performance and upgraded, pure oxygen-free copper (OFC) pin conductors, plated in 24K gold for superior signal transfer and corrosion resistance (solid silver pins are not used due to some of their unwanted sonic characteristics). Also, nickel and rhodium free.

  • Teflon dielectric pin housing minimises electrical noise and enhances structural rigidity.

  • Female XLR connectors feature quad-split tubes with a spring-loaded mechanism, ensuring a snug fit each time for optimum signal transfer, indefinitely.

  • Outer body machined from brass, which improves shielding and overall connector strength.

  • The connector body has a standard (minimal) outer diameter and as such, should fit all components (the connectors are not wide enough to bind against connectors next to them).

  • Left and Right cables clearly marked with enamel paint. 

RCA Connectors

  • High-end WBT connectors with pure oxygen-free copper (OFC), 24K gold-plated signal pin and outer ground conductor for superior signal transfer and corrosion resistance (solid silver pins are not used due to some of their unwanted sonic characteristics). Also, nickel and rhodium free.

  • Teflon dielectric pin housing minimises electrical noise and enhances structural rigidity.

  • Twist-locking mechanism ensures a secure and vibration-resistant fit, optimising signal transfer. This unique locking system also eliminates the problem encountered by other designs which have permanently tensioned outer ground conductor fingers and scrape off some gold from the socket and connector each time they are inserted or removed.

  • Directional arrows on the 316 stainless steel tube indicate optimal signal flow (electron oscillation) direction for best performance - this follows the manufacture ‘draw and roll’ direction of the wire conductor, shielding design and burn-in direction (Quantum Electrical Mechanical Tunnelling through crystal boundaries).

  • Outer body machined from brass, which improves shielding and overall connector strength.

 11.    Customisable Cable Lengths

  • For the perfect fit, we offer six standard stocked lengths of XLR and RCA cables: 0.5m, 0.8m, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m, and 1.8m - measured between the connectors. Allow for a 2% tolerance either way for the cable length (due to twist rate optimisation and ideal wire-to-pin orientation). Each individual cable (of the pair) is matched and are of the exact same length.

  • As these cables are slightly stiff due to the multi-layered shield & damping design and incorporate an internal cable strain relief that extends through the connector, please allow for additional cable length for the arc bend behind each connector when determining the required total cable length.   • Custom lengths available on request (minimum 0.3m, maximum 2m) - allow approximately 3 weeks for custom length manufacture (a 50% deposit will be required).

 12.    Burn-in Period

  • Although the cables will sound exceptional upon installation, there will be a significant audio improvement once you have logged upwards of 150 hours playing your favourite music. Best performance will be achieved from around 300 hours (due to the dense precious metals). Do not use a cable burner. The technical term for this burn-in is called Quantum Electron Mechanical Tunnelling, a scientifically recognised phenomenon that improves electron flow (oscillation) and enhances audio fidelity over time.
